Regardez:Lanvin ♥ H&M-The Loot

So at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday November 20 accompanied by a few friends we braved the brisk Atlanta morn to raid H&M. This was no burglary, simply the launch of the Lanvin ♥ H&M Collection. But I was really shocked at how well organized the overall experience was. The sales associates came out greeted us with bracelets that had specific times to shop the Women’s collection and gift bags, yes gift bags!! Each cotton gift bag complete with grosgrain ribbon handles contained a linen navy stole and brooch.
Once inside those shopping the Men’s collection could grab what they wanted as fast as possible. I with the help of my friends acting as bodyguards allow me the space to grab several shoe size and color options. I had my sights set on the bronze oxfords so once I grabbed those I was fine. I was surprised at how most people helped out each other, total strangers asking if you found you coveted choice. This was surly not the case at the H&M on 34th St. in NY which was rumored to have had a stabbing incident after someone jumped the line. Meanwhile at the Atlantic Station store the group of shopper that I would say was a total of 100 people max was an all out party! The in store DJ mixed up some of the best sounds I have heard in a while whilst we shopped the morning away.Too bad I was not invited to the Fashion Show/Shopping Party in NYC but you can check it out right here.
Did you get to purchase anything from the collection? If not which piece would you have gotten? I can't wait until there is a store in the Charleston area because that whole traveling thing was a bit much but I would do it all again. The quality of all the peices in the collection are beyond but should I have expected anything less from Alber Elbaz? I love Lanvin!!

Well I was coming to give you some love for seeing you in Style Girl's photos from Charleston Fashion Swap, and here I see you singing in the proverbial rain outside H&M! That's so fantastic you got to go! Those brogues are seriously amazing. I would kill for the blue ones!!! :) Did you hear Alber drove by the SoHo store to see if anyone would show up?? ;)

OMG Laura That would have been so cool. I think Alber is a genius, and so humble.I love my shoes,I wore them for the first time at that event. I must have looked dope in them a 40yr old woman walked across the room sat on my lap and went on to discuss what beautiful kids we would have.I did not see that coming, but I don't blame her!Ha
