Regardez: Louis Vuitton Printemps/Ete 2010
The Louis Vuitton Spring 2010 collection which at first sight, took a que from Japanese cartoons, was an exuberant display of brocade cycling shorts, pleated kilt-cum-belts, army-pocketed jackets, neon and nude camouflage slipdresses, and LV-stamped ombré-dyed denim looks with fringed edges. The star of the show were the fantastic an whimsical accessories that took the monogram an all new high. The oversized ombré-dyed denim bags stole my heart away in its cavernous insides. Even the fanny pack got the luxury treatment made with supple embossed brown leather and weighed way down with the seasons festive long leather tassels. Suede peg-heeled clogs (the season's funniest take on the resurgent kitten heel) sprouted fur patches and hardware. I am sure to see little Suri Cruise getting her strut down in these come spring.
